10 Things I Hate About You: Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You
Yes, when I saw this at 16 I fell in love with Mr. Heath Ledger during this scene.
"I love you baby, and if it's quite alright I need you baby, through all the lonely night, I love you baby...trust in me when I say..."

Grey's Anatomy: Two best dramatic scenes
Yes, yes I know it's not a movie...but when the episode is 2 hours long it almost counts, right?
The "Grey's Anatomy" season finales can usually add an Emmy nomination to the star, like Christina's amazingly dramatic job in the Season 3 Finale when she lost Dr. Burke. Or the amazing job of Izzy when she lost her love, Denny.
"We need this. We need to get your happy ending." (Grey's Anatomy)
"Now I know you love him, and he also loved you. And the guy that loves you like that doesn't want you to this to yourself. Because it's not Denny...not anymore." (Grey's Anatomy)

My absolutely favorite scene from the movie is in front of the moon, but I couldn't find the scene on YouTube that didn't have a video montage behind it...but here is a definite fav:

Garden State: Leaving...and coming back
Favorite real scene about leaving...and coming back (also best use of a song that will always make you think of this scene, good job "Let Go" by Frou Frou).
Andrew: And I'm in love with you... I think that's the only thing I've ever really been sure of in my entire life. And I'm really messed up right now, and I got a whole lot of stuff I have to work out, but I don't want to waste any more of my life without you in it. And I think I can do this. I mean, I want to. I have to. (Garden State)

Garden State: Homesick
1:15 into the clip....best quote ever about leaving home and that crazy rite of passage:
Andrew Largeman: You know that point in your life when you realize that the house that you grew up in isn't really your home anymore? All of the sudden even though you have some place where you can put your stuff that idea of home is gone.
Sam: I still feel at home in my house.
Andrew Largeman: You'll see when you move out it just sort of happens one day one day and it's just gone. And you can never get it back. It's like you get homesick for a place that doesn't exist. I mean it's like this rite of passage, you know. You won't have this feeling again until you create a new idea of home for yourself, you know, for your kids, for the family you start, it's like a cycle or something. I miss the idea of it. Maybe that's all family really is. A group of people who miss the same imaginary place. (Garden State)

For the love of movies
I absolutely love movies - some of my favorite ones fall under the comedy and romantic category. While watching YouTube videos of my favorite movie moments, I got the idea to combine my love for great movie quotes and the video together.
Here I will post the quote and the video clip online for you to enjoy, let's face it, in your free time when you need something to get you away from the real world for a few minutes.
Hopefully some will be your favorite moments - and maybe it'll make a few new fans as well. Keep in mind, yes I am a hopeless (or hopeful) romantic, so the first few may be my fav romantic moments because those stick out the most for me.
Feel free to send you your favorite moments and /or quotes and I'll add them, along with credit to you.
Thanks,
Melissa
